Our Story

Our artistic journey began in 2009 at a time of great change in our lives. After decades of entrepreneurialism, owning and running multiple businesses, our work led us to new directions in a new city. Along with a drastic lifestyle shift and amidst the discovery of new career paths, we both craved an artistic outlet that we could pursue and develop together as we settled in our new lives. For years, we had admired the art of stained glass making and the timing was perfect for us to invest in learning the craft. Our new vocation began that fall and we were quickly enamoured by the process and the artistic possibilities that cutting and shaping glass had to offer.

 

We have since founded Reflection Glass Studio. Together, we design and create panels and windows in both stained glass and mosaic styles, depicting various scenes of animals, nature, people, and abstracts. As we expand our skills and business, we continue to explore and challenge ourselves in this art form, maintaining a steady flow of personal projects and commissions in our cozy home-based studio. A decade after the founding of our studio, stained glass and mosaic making has become a creative cornerstone of our lives, offering us a welcome opportunity to connect with one another and the world around us.
